A Rotted Deck Under a Bare Gazebo Frame Gets New Life in Schnecksville, PA
See how we resurfaced this deck in Schnecksville, PA with Deckorators Venture Sandbar decking and added a new hardtop roof to the existing gazebo frame.

A deck resurface finished with Deckorators Venture Sandbar decking, topped with a new hardtop roof on the existing gazebo frame.
Before we started, this Schnecksville property had a small deck that had rotted through in several spots, with holes in the boards underneath a bare metal gazebo frame that had never been fitted with a roof.

We tore out the failing decking and rebuilt the surface in Deckorators Venture composite decking in Sandbar, framed with a single-board picture frame border and matching fascia. The existing metal gazebo frame stayed in place, and we topped it with a new hardtop roof, giving the structure real shelter for the first time.

What was a rotted deck under an open, roofless frame is now a solid composite deck with real shade and weather protection, set against the property's open farmland views.

If you have a deck or gazebo frame that's been sitting unfinished or falling apart, a resurface paired with a new roof like this one can bring the whole structure back to life. We'd be glad to take a look at your space and talk through what that could look like.
