What is the difference between a covered porch and a screened porch?
A covered porch has a roof and open sides. A screened porch adds screen panels on those sides. We build both, and a covered porch can be screened in later if the frame is planned for it.
Can you waterproof a porch over a garage or finished space?
Yes. We install an EPDM waterproofing system on a marine-grade frame, so water is carried away and the space below stays dry.
Do you replace an old porch roof?
Yes. We inspect the posts, beams and footings that carry the roof, correct what does not meet current code, and build a new roof structure with shingles matched to the house.
