A brand-new bi-level deck built on helical piers around an in-ground pool, finished with Deckorators Summit Boulder decking and a black aluminum railing.
Before we started, this Albrightsville property had a freshly poured in-ground pool shell sitting in bare dirt, with no deck around it yet to make the space usable.
We built a new bi-level deck on helical pier footings that wraps the full length of the pool, with a staircase down to the paver patio below. The deck is finished in Deckorators Summit composite decking in Boulder, framed with a single-board picture frame border and matching stair treads, fascia, and risers. A black aluminum railing with 2.5-inch posts runs the entire pool side, finished with a self-closing, pool-compliant gate at the bottom of the stairs to meet pool safety code. The pool itself is trimmed in matching Boulder composite coping, and the space below the deck is closed in with horizontal composite skirting and an access gate.
What was a bare pool shell in open dirt is now a fully decked-out pool surround, ready for swimming, lounging, and everything in between.
